Contra
A Asus decidiu fazer muito para competir com o Microsoft Surface. O Asus Transformer 3 Pro é um passo para frente: um processador mais veloz, muita RAM e um grande SSD em um conversível. O dock de teclado transforma esta pacote em um portátil completo. No momento do teste o preço do conversível era de 1.599 Euros (~$ 1668). O comprador receberá um aparelho confiável com suficiente desempenho para as tarefas do dia a dia. Infelizmente, o modelo de teste nunca foi capaz de liberar todo o seu desempenho. É por isso que não podemos considera-lo como um concorrente real do Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
A brecha entre o desempenho potencial e real pode espantar muitos compradores potenciais. No entanto, o Asus Transformer 3 Pro é um conversível elegante com acabamento perfeito. A ótima tela oferece extensa cobertura do espaço de cores e é adequada para o uso profissional.
Um processador mais veloz seria sempre melhor. Mas qual o sentido disso quando o fabricante o afoga até o fundo? Um Intel Core i5-7Y54 pode ser resfriado passivamente, mesmo assim oferece desempenho similar ao do Intel Core i7-6500U do nosso modelo de teste. A conectividade do modelo da Asus é típico, mas gostaríamos de ver duas portas USB 3.1 (ambas com suporte para Thunderbolt 3) no futuro assim o usuário pode usar um para carregar e o outro para adaptadores para estender a conectividade.
