Contra
"O Chromebook para o trabalho." É assim que a Acer gosta de ver seu novo Chromebook: um dispositivo de escritório para o trabalho diário. Já a primeira vista mostra que o Chromebook cresceu. Em vez de cores lúdicas, é construído com um visual brilhante de acabamento de piano. É lamentável que a superfície seja tão suscetível às impressões digitais. No entanto, para um dispositivo de trabalho, a adequação dos dispositivos de entrada é mais importante. O teclado em particular é adequado inclusive para dias mais longos no escritório. Para ser um dispositivo empresarial real, faltam mais recursos de segurança.
A tela IPS mate é muito sólida em geral. As cores e a escala de cinzas são bem reproduzidas. Infelizmente, falta um pouco de brilho à tela. Fontes de luz direta no escritório ou no exterior podem restringir a operação ou preveni-la completamente.
O equipamento de hardware em particular recebeu nossa atenção. No entanto, não pode aproveitar todo o seu potencial e até mesmo fica atrás dos processadores mais fracos da Intel Core m5 nos benchmarks. Ainda assim, o sistema funciona muito fluentemente e mais rápido do que outros Chromebooks.
O candidato da Acer ganha pontos com seus bons valores de emissão e uma duração de bateria de 9 horas.
O Acer Chromebook 14 para Trabalho é exatamente se supõe que deve ser: um portátil de escritório para o trabalho diário no escritório com suficiente estamina.
Quem quiser mudar completamente para um Chromebook como seu dispositivo principal também deve dar uma olhada no HP Chromebook 13 G1. E o Chromebook Lenovo ThinkPad 13 oferece ainda mais desempenho.
