Case & Connectivity - O B3 Flip tem mais de dois Thunderbolt 4 Portos

A Asus escolheu uma caixa preta mate e uma mistura de materiais, com metal para a parte de trás da tampa e plástico para a unidade base. As folgas são uniformes e não há bordas afiadas. A unidade base e a tampa podem ser torcidas levemente com demasiada facilidade. A bateria é fixa e não existe uma tampa de manutenção.

O conversível tem duas portas USB-C (1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0). Além disso, tem duas portas USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) que suportam PowerDelivery e DisplayPort por USB-C. Portanto, ao todo, o B3 tem três saídas de vídeo, incluindo a porta HDMI dedicada. O leitor de cartão de memória microSD é um dos modelos mais lentos (cartão de referência: AV PRO microSD 128 GB V60)

O dispositivo 2-em-1 tem duas câmeras a bordo: uma webcam (0,9 MP) para videoconferências e uma câmera (13 MP) para tirar fotos. Esta última é colocada acima do teclado e pode ser usada no modo tablet. A webcam é um modelo de qualidade padrão, mas a câmera de 13-MP mostra resultados sólidos.

O chip Wi-Fi (MediaTek MT7921) suporta os padrões 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax. Sob circunstâncias ideais (nenhum outro dispositivo Wi-Fi na proximidade, pequena distância entre laptop e servidor) as taxas de transferência são boas, mas não podem corresponder aos dispositivos atuais e suas opções.

Dispositivos de entrada - O computador Asus não tem um teclado retroiluminado

As teclas pares e suaves do teclado chiclet oferecem um curso raso e um ponto de atuação distinto. O teclado cede ligeiramente durante a digitação, mas não é muito perceptível. Tudo somado, o Asus criou um teclado que é adequado para o uso diário. Mas o teclado não é retroiluminado, como seria de esperar de um laptop por 1.400 euros(~1.586 USD).

O ClickPad suave e multi-toque abrange uma superfície de cerca de 10,5 x 6,2 cm (~4,1 x 2,4 pol.) e tem boas propriedades de deslizamento. O quad-core Núcleo i7-1165G7 (Tiger Lake) funciona com um relógio de base de 2,8 GHz. Via turbo, este pode ser aumentado para 4,1 GHz (quatro núcleos) ou 4,7 GHz (um núcleo). Ruído do sistema

Durante o uso diário (escritório, internet), o ventilador muitas vezes não gira de forma alguma para uma operação completamente silenciosa. Sob carga, o nível de ruído aumenta para até 44,1 dB(A) - demais para um simples caderno de escritório. A esse respeito, a concorrência tem mais a oferecer. Com um 'modo sussurro', o nível de ruído diminui - às custas da potência computacional.

Durante o uso diário (escritório, internet), as temperaturas da superfície do Asus Flip continuam razoáveis. Sob carga (teste de estresse), a temperatura sobe em algumas áreas, mas ainda permanece moderada em média.

No início do teste de estresse (rodando Prime95 e Furmark por pelo menos uma hora), a CPU funciona em 2,6 a 4 GHz. Ao longo de nosso teste de estresse, as taxas de clock caem para a faixa de 1,3 a 2,8 GHz. O relógio do chip gráfico oscila entre 1.000 e 1.200 MHz. O teste de estresse representa um caso extremo. Utilizamos este teste para determinar se o sistema é estável mesmo sob carga máxima.

O Asus ExpertBook B3 Flip é um portátil 2 em 1 discreto que está equipado para todos os casos de uso. O acesso à rede é possível via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, e LTE. Duas portas Thunderbolt 4 (PowerDelivery, Displayport) deixam espaço para mais opções de atualização.

O ExpertBook B3 Flip é muito bom no que faz, mas luta em áreas nas quais um dispositivo que custa 1.400 Euros (~1

.586 USD) não deveria.

O Core i7-1165G7 tem bom desempenho de ruptura a curto prazo, mas diminui sob cargas contínuas. Como é relativamente alto sob carga, o nível de ruído pode ser reduzido em 'modo sussurro' - reduzindo o desempenho. A vida útil da bateria no mundo real é de 8 horas, mas os valores do B3 são inferiores aos de seus concorrentes.

A tela tátil (FHD, IPS) oferece uma boa relação de contraste, bons ângulos de visão e uma sólida representação de cores. O brilho e a precisão das cores não impressionam, porém. A tela sensível ao toque pode ser usada com os dedos ou com a caneta Asus incluída para entradas. Esta última é guardada na unidade base, onde também pode ser carregada.

O Lenovo ThinkBook 14s Yoga ITL poderia ser uma alternativa para o Asus Convertible. Ele tem uma tela melhor, um teclado retroiluminado e uma maior duração da bateria. Ele não oferece um modem LTE - nem mesmo opcionalmente
