AMD Ryzen 7 4800U
O AMD Ryzen 7 4800U é um processador para computadores portáteis finos e leves baseado na arquitectura Renoir. O 4800U integra todos os oito núcleos baseados na microarquitectura Zen 2. São cronometrados a 1,8 (relógio base garantido) a 4,2 GHz (Turbo) e suportam SMT / Hyperthreading (16 fios). O chip é fabricado no moderno processo de 7 nm na TSMC e em parte graças a ele a AMD anuncia um desempenho 2x melhorado por Watt para os chips Renoir. Em comparação com o semelhante Ryzen 7 4800H, o 4800U oferece um TDP (15 versus 45 Watt) e um relógio de base (1,8 versus 2,9 GHz) mais baixo.
De acordo com a AMD, o Ryzen 7 4800U é 4% mais rápido no teste de fio único Cinebench R20 e 90% mais rápido no teste multithreaded em comparação com o rápido Intel Core i7-1065G7 (Ice Lake, 4 núcleos, 3,9 GHz). Isto significa que o CPU deve ser um dos processadores mais rápidos na gama de 15 Watt TDP e bem adequado para tarefas exigentes. O desempenho sustentado depende fortemente do sistema de arrefecimento e das definições TDP do portátil.
Além dos oito núcleos de CPU, a APU também integra uma placa gráfica Radeon RX Vega 8 integrada com 8 CUs e até 1750 MHz. O controlador de memória de duplo canal suporta DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 RAM energeticamente eficiente. Além disso, 8 MB de cache de nível 3 podem ser encontrados no chip.
