AMD R3 4300U

O AMD Ryzen 3 4300U é um processador para computadores portáteis finos e leves baseado na arquitectura Renoir. O 4500U integra quatro núcleos baseados na microarquitectura Zen 2 (CPU quad core). São cronometrados a 2,7 (relógio base garantido) a 3,7 GHz (Turbo) sem suporte SMT / Hyperthreading (4 threads). O chip é fabricado no moderno processo de 7 nm na TSMC e em parte graças a ele a AMD anuncia um desempenho 2x melhorado por Watt para os chips Renoir. Em comparação com os Ryzen 5 4000 CPUs mais rápidos (por exemplo, Ryzen 5 4600U), o Ryzen 3 oferece apenas 4 núcleos e velocidades de relógio Turbo mais baixas.

Graças aos novos núcleos Zen 2, o Ryzen 3 4300U deve oferecer um desempenho semelhante ao do Ryzen 5 3500U. Para um CPU de gama média inferior, o desempenho é bastante bom e suficiente para a maioria das tarefas exigentes.

Para além dos quatro núcleos de CPU, a APU também integra uma placa gráfica integrada Radeon RX Vega 5 com 5 CUs e até 1400 MHz. O controlador de memória de duplo canal suporta DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 RAM energeticamente eficiente. Além disso, 8 MB de cache de nível 3 podem ser encontrados no chip. O TDP da APU é especificado a 15 Watt (por defeito) e pode ser configurado de 10 a 25 Watt pelo fornecedor do portátil. Isto significa que o chip se destina a computadores portáteis finos e leves (mas com ventoinhas).
