AMD Ryzen 5 6600U
O AMD Ryzen 5 6600U é um processador para computadores portáteis finos e leves baseado na geração Rembrandt. O R5 6500U integra seis dos oito núcleos baseados na microarquitectura Zen 3+. São cronometrados a 2,9 (relógio base garantido) a 4,5 GHz (Turbo) e suportam SMT / Hyperthreading (16 fios). O chip é fabricado no moderno processo de 6 nm na TSMC. Em comparação com o semelhante R6 6600H, o 6800U oferece uma velocidade de relógio de base mais baixa e um TDP mais baixo.
O novo Zen 3+ é uma actualização da arquitectura Zen 3 e não deve oferecer muitas mudanças. O próprio chip, contudo, oferece muitas características novas, como suporte para USB 4 (40 Gbps), PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s ou LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2, e descodificação AV1.
O desempenho do processador deve ser claramente melhor do que o antigo Ryzen 5 5600U, graças à velocidade do relógio melhorada. No entanto, as novas CPUs Alder Lake U e P-series, como a i5-1260P, devem oferecer um desempenho superior.
Na série 6000, a AMD finalmente mudou para a actual arquitectura gráfica RDNA 2 para a iGPU. A 6600H oferece apenas a pequena Radeon 660M com 6 das 12 CUs activadas e 1,9 GHz de taxa de relógio máxima.
O TDP da APU é especificado a 15 - 28 Watt (por defeito). A eficiência energética deve ser muito boa, graças ao processo melhorado de 6nm e às características adicionais de poupança de energia da série 6000.
