AMD Athlon 300U

O AMD Athlon 300U é um SoC de núcleo duplo móvel de entrada que foi anunciado em Janeiro de 2019. Combina dois núcleos Zen (com SMT / Hyperthreading assim correndo 4 fios) cronometrados a 2,4 - 3,3 GHz com uma placa gráfica Radeon RX Vega 3 com 3 CUs (192 Shaders) cronometrados a até 1000 MHz. Especificado a 15 Watt TDP, o SoC destina-se a computadores portáteis de gama média fina. É bastante semelhante ao AMD Ryzen 3 3200U (2,6 - 3,5 GHz).

Em comparação com as APUs Picasso da série Ryzen 3000, o Athlon 300U ainda se baseia na primeira geração da série 2000. Apenas a variante PRO se baseia na nova microarquitectura Zen+ que deverá levar a uma melhoria de 3% do IPS (desempenho por relógio).

O controlador de memória integrado de duplo canal suporta até à memória DDR4-2400. Como as características dos APUs Picasso são as mesmas em comparação com os antecessores do Raven Ridge, apontamos para o nosso artigo de lançamento do Raven Ridge.

Em contraste com as APUs Picasso quad-core mais rápidas, a Athlon 300U suporta apenas 3 em vez de 4 displays no total.

Em termos de desempenho, o Athlon 300 deve ser ligeiramente mais lento do que o Ryzen 3 2200U (2,5 - 3,4 GHz Dual Core com SMT).
