AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
O AMD Ryzen 9 7900X é um processador de secretária rápido e topo de gama da série Raphael. Oferece 12 núcleos baseados na arquitectura Zen 4 que suporta hyperthreading (24 threads). Os núcleos funcionam a frequências que vão de 4,7 (base) a 5,7 GHz (impulso de núcleo único). Quando todos os 12 núcleos estão completamente carregados, a velocidade máxima do relógio é de 5,1 GHz. O 7900X é o segundo Ryzen mais rápido no lançamento, só ultrapassado pelo Ryzen 9 7950X com mais 4 núcleos.
O desempenho do R9 7900X é claramente melhor do que o do Ryzen 9 5900X mais antigo, graças à arquitectura melhorada e ao moderno processo de 5nm. Em comparação com o Intels Raptor Lake Core i9-13700K, o desempenho de um núcleo é ligeiramente inferior e o desempenho de vários núcleos é ligeiramente superior. O desempenho em jogos é um pouco inferior, e em média está apenas ao nível do Core i5-13600K e também inferior ao do Ryzen 7 5800X3D mais antigo.
A série Raphael ainda usa um desenho de chiplet com dois clusters CCD (cada um com 8 núcleos possíveis) em 5nm e um IO-die (incluindo o controlador de memória e Radeon Graphics iGPU) em 6nm.
