AMD R5 3500U

O AMD Ryzen 5 3500U é um SoC móvel que foi anunciado em janeiro de 2019. Ele combina quatro núcleos Zen (8 threads) com 2,2 - 3,8 GHz com uma placa gráfica Radeon RX Vega 8 com 8 CUs (512 Shaders) com velocidade de até 1200 MHz. Especificado com um TDP de 15 Watts, o SoC é destinado a portáteis finos de gama média.

Os SoCs Picasso usam a microarquitetura Zen+ com pequenas melhorias que devem levar a melhorias de 3% no IPS (desempenho por relógio). Além disso, o processo de 12 nm permite velocidades mais altas com consumos de energia semelhantes.

O controlador de memória dual-channel integrado suporta memória DDR4-2400. Como os recursos das APUs Picasso são os mesmos em comparação com os antecessores de Raven Ridge, apontamos para o artigo de lançamento de Raven Ridge.

A AMD afirma que as APUs Picasso são cerca de 8% mais rápidas que as anteriores. Portanto, o Ryzen 5 3500U deve estar à frente do Ryzen 5 2500U (2 - 3,6 GHz) e quase igual ao Ryzen 7 2700U (2,2 - 3,8 GHz).
