AMD Phenom II X4 P920

O AMD Phenom II X4 P920 é um CPU quad-core de baixa freqüência para portáteis. Comparado com o Phenom II para desktop, o Phenom II X4 móvel não oferece cache de nível 3 e, portanto, é comparável com a linha Athlon X4 para desktop. A baixa freqüência permite o baixo consumo de energia (TDP de 25 W), mas pode levar a um desempenho ruim em aplicativos single threaded e jogos. Por exemplo no teste single threaded CB10, o P920 foi somente tão rápido quanto um Dual-Core Core 2 Duo de 1,6 GHz. No SuperPi até um Core 2 Duo de 1,3 GHz era mais veloz. Se os quatro núcleos são usados, o CPU pode ser tão veloz quanto um Core 2 Duo de 2,3-2,4 GHz  (como T4500). NO CB11.5 tão veloz quanto um Core i3-330M. O Quad-Core Core i7-720QM  também é classificado em 1,6 GHz, mas garças ao Turbo Boost e um grande cache de nível 3, o 720QM é notavelmente mais veloz (e faminto por energia).

Como os atuais CPUs Intel Core i3, o P920 oferece um controlador de memória DDR3 integrado (até DDR3-1066). Porém, ainda é produzido em 45nm (processo SOI).
