AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
O Ryzen 5 9600X é uma CPU de desktop de médio porte da família de produtos Granite Ridge que apresenta 6 núcleos Zen 5 (12 threads) funcionando de 3,9 GHz a 5,4 GHz, suporte a PCIe 5 e uma iGPU básica . O Ryzen foi lançado em junho de 2024, com vendas programadas para começar em julho.
Arquitetura e recursos
Assim como as APUs Strix Point, os processadores Granite Ridge usam a nova microarquitetura Zen 5. No entanto, não há núcleos eficientes aqui; todos os núcleos do 9600X são núcleos Zen 5 completos. Além disso, o Granite Ridge é um projeto de várias matrizes com apenas os núcleos da CPU produzidos usando um processo TSMC de 4 nm bastante moderno. Pelo que sabemos, os processadores Strix Point têm um design de matriz única.
De acordo com a AMD, o Zen 5 oferece uma melhoria de 16% no IPC em relação ao Zen 4, graças a melhorias na previsão de ramificação e outros refinamentos.
Além disso, o 9600X tem 32 MB de cache L3 e 24 pistas diretas de PCIe 5 (taxa de transferência de 3,93 GB/s por pista) com até 12 pistas adicionais de PCIe 4 disponíveis, dependendo da placa-mãe. Ele suporta RAM DDR5 com velocidade de até 5600 MT/s, incluindo memória ECC - isso também depende da placa-mãe.
O 9600X é desbloqueado para overclocking. Naturalmente, a CPU com soquete AM5 suporta totalmente o Windows 11, o Windows 10 de 64 bits, bem como muitas distribuições Linux.
Desempenho
De acordo com os vazamentos do início de julho vazamentos o 9600X oferece aproximadamente o mesmo desempenho multi-thread que o octa-core AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D o que é muito impressionante, considerando a diferença de preço. Com certeza atualizaremos esta seção assim que colocarmos as mãos em um sistema equipado com o 9600X.
Gráficos
As 2 CU Radeon Graphics vem equipada com apenas 128 shaders unificados executados a até 2.200 MHz. A nova arquitetura RDNA 3+ significa que essa pequena iGPU é totalmente habilitada para DX12 Ultimate, com ray tracing e outras tecnologias modernas presentes; no entanto, 128 shaders não são nada a partir de meados de 2024, o que significa que seu desempenho em jogos está previsto para ser extremamente baixo.
Dito isso, a placa de vídeo Radeon permite o uso simultâneo de 3 (provavelmente 4) monitores SUHD 4320p e também suporta codificação e decodificação de hardware de codecs de vídeo populares, incluindo AVC, HEVC, VP9 e AV1. O VVC não é compatível, ao contrário do que ocorre com o Lunar Lake.
Consumo de energia
Os núcleos da CPU são construídos com um processo TSMC de 4 nm para uma boa eficiência energética, a partir de meados de 2024. (Apple é o líder nesse aspecto com o processo de 3 nm de segunda geração)
O TDP de longo prazo do Ryzen 5 é de 65 W. Ele provavelmente consumirá pelo menos 100 W quando estiver sob cargas pesadas de curto prazo. Se o senhor fizer overclock, os valores de consumo de energia aumentarão significativamente.
