AMD E2-1800
O AMD E2-1800 (codinome Zacate) é um processador dual core para pequenos portáteis e netbooks. Ele oferece uma placa de vídeo integrada relativamente potente e um controlador de memória DDR3(L)-1333 de um só canal. Comparado com o antigo E-450, o E2-1800 oferece frequências de CPU (50 MHz) e GPU (20-80 MHz) um pouco mais altas. Dentro do E2-1800 dois núcleos Bobcat podem acessar um cache de 512KB de nível 2 por núcleo. Em comparação com os processadores Atom, a arquitetura Bobcat usa uma execução "fora de ordem" e, portanto, é mais veloz com a mesma freqüência. No entanto, o desempenho é muito pior que núcleos Penryn (Celeron) ou Danube (Athlon II) de freqüência similar. Em média, o desempenho da cpu do E-450 é um pouco mais alto que o de um Celeron SU2300 com 1,2 GHz ou um Athlon II Neo K325 a 1,3 GHz. A placa de vídeo integrada Radeon HD 7340 oferece 80 shaders e um processador de vídeo UVD3. Comparada com a lento GMA 3150 nos processadores Atom, o HD7340 oferece muito mais desempenho e é quase tão veloz quanto a solução gráfica Nvidia ION. A diferença com o antigo 6320 no E-450 e uma frequência 20-80MHz mais alta. o consumo de energia está classificado com um TDP de 18 Watts pela AMD. De acordo com as primeiras análises de protótipo Brazos o consumo de energia foi entre 11 a 29 Watts. Isto estaria no nível de um (muito mais poderoso) MacBook Air de 11" usando Windows 7.
