O AMD Ryzen 5 5600G é um APU Zen 3 de secretária com gráficos Radeon integrados. O Ryzen 5 5600G oferece seis núcleos, 12 fios, e uma cache L3 de 16 MB. O APU funciona a um relógio de base de 3,9 GHz e pode aumentar até um máximo de 4,4 GHz. A AMD embala um refrigerador Wraith Stealth em caixa com todas as unidades Ryzen 5 5600G.

O Ryzen 5 5600G destina-se a gamers e criadores de conteúdos que ainda não estão preparados para investir numa solução gráfica dedicada. O APU integra um Radeon RX Vega 7 iGPU que oferece sete unidades de computação (448 shaders) e pode potenciar até 1.900 GHz. O RX Vega 7 deve ser capaz de executar títulos menos exigentes, tais como Fifa 22 suavemente a 1080p Alta configuração. Outros jogos exigirão a redução da resolução e/ou detalhes para alcançar taxas de quadros jogáveis. O Vega 7 beneficia quando emparelhado com memória rápida, como o DDR4-3200.

O AMD Ryzen 5 5600G é fabricado num processo TSMC 7 nm e é classificado a um TDP padrão de 65 W. O processador é desbloqueado para suportar overclocking. Ao contrário do seu equivalente normal de secretária, o Ryzen 5 5600X, o Ryzen 5 5600G pode suportar apenas interfaces PCIe Gen 3.
