AMD Pro A12-8800B

A AMD Pro A12-8800B é a APU Carrizo Top de linha de 2015 para portáteis empresariais. É um SoC que contêm dois módulos de CPU Excavator (com 4 integer e 2 unidades FP contadas como 4 núcleos de cômputo), uma placa de vídeo Radeon R7 com 8 núcleos de cômputo (512 shaders), um controlador de memória DDR3-2133 (cTDP de 35 Watts) e um motor de vídeo (incluindo UVD 6 com hardware HEVC / decodificação H.265). É similar à versão de consumo, a FX-8800P, mas oferece suporte empresarial e garante um extenso programa de suporte. 

O desempenho dos núcleos da CPU e da GPU depende do TDP configurável. Este cTDP pode variar entre 12 a 35 Watts dependendo da solução de resfriamento e do tamanho do portátil. Por isso, as velocidades dos núcleos de cômputo irão variar. Por exemplo, a GPU pode marcar entre 1992 pontos (15 Watts) até 2753 pontos (+38% com cTDP de 35 Watts) no 3DMark 11 (baseado no similar FX-8800P).

De acordo com a AMD, a configuração de 35 Watts marca 12% (Cinebench single-thread) e 15% (Cinebench Multi-threaded) a mais, em comparação com a anterior geração Steamroller (mais provavelmente a AMD FX-7600P). Se em vez disso estiver configurado para 15 Watt, os ganhos são maiores (40% a 55%) em comparação com a APU Kaveri FX-7500 de 19 Watts. Veja mais benchmarks em nossa página FX-8800P.
