AMD A10-5750M

A AMD A10-5750M é um processador quad-core móvel baseado na arquitetura Richland. Como o sucessor da A10-4600m, o A10-5750M oferece um desempeno de CPU e gráfico ligeiramente superior e representa o novo modelo top da série A (Março de 2013).

Comparado com a Trinity, a Richland foi modificada apenas um pouco. Portanto, nenhuma mudança no conjunto de recursos ou no desempenho Pro-MHz pode ser reportada. O design do chip ainda se baseia na arquitetura Bulldozer, que consiste nos chamados módulos. Cada um dos dois módulos integram 2 unidades de inteiros, mas apenas um FPU. Assim como a Trinity, a Richland suporta praticamente todas as técnicas atuais, como a AVX (incluindo FMA), AES ou Turbo Core.

os primeiros benchmarks PCMark 7 mostram um aumento de desempenho de cerca de 10 por cento no A10-4600M (5750M: 2175 pontos, 4600M: 1965 pontos). Com isso o A10-5750M quase se posicionaria no nível de um Core i3-2330M (Sandy Bridge).

A unidade gráfica chamada Radeon HD 8650G oferece 384 unidades shader (VLIW4) e tem uma frequência de 533 - 720 MHz (ligeiramente mais alta que a HD 7660G). Com uma veloz memória de dois canais, espera-se que o desempenho supere o de uma HD 7670M dedicada.

O consumo de energia de todo o APU é de 35 watts, que é comparável com modelo de gama média convencionais da concorrência. Por isso, O APU é mais adequada para portáteis de 14 polegadas ou maiores.
