NVIDIA Quadro M1200
A Nvidia Quadro M1200 de 28nm é uma placa de vídeo de gama média, compatível com DirectX 12 (FL 11_0) e placa de vídeo compatível com OpenGL 4.5 para workstations móveis. É uma GPU (1ra geração) baeada em Maxwell, integrada no chip GM107 com 640 núcleos shader. Portanto, a GPU é similar à Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M de consumo. A Quadro M1200M está feita para a geração Skylake da Intel e é a sucessora da Quadro K1000M (Baseada na 950M).
A série Quadro oferece controladores certificados que estão otimizados para oferecer estabilidade e desempenho em aplicativos profissionais como CAD ou DCC. O desempenho OpenGL, por exemplo, deve ser significantemente melhor que o da placa de vídeo GeForce de especificações similares.
O desempenho da Quadro M1200 está no nível da M2000M d anterior geração que também se baseia na 960M. Em jogos é comparável à GTX 960M embora o suporte para controladores não esteja otimizado para os jogos.
Usando CUDA (Compute Capability 5.0) ou OpenCL 1.2, os núcleos do Quadro M2000M podem ser usados para cálculos gerais.
O consumo de energia da Quadro M1200 está especificado para o mesmo TGP de 45 Watts ( TDP de 32,5 Watts) e, portanto, um pouco inferior que a M2000M com TGP de 55 Watts.
