A GPU NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada Generation Laptop é uma placa de vídeo profissional para notebooks. Ela é baseada na GPU para laptop GPU para laptop RTX 4090 com 9.728 núcleos CUDA, 76 núcleos de traçado de raio e 304 núcleos de tensor de 4ª geração. O RTX 5000 também usa 16 GB de memória com um barramento de 256 bits, mas a memória suporta correção de erros ECC (opcional, reduz o tamanho para 15360 MB). As taxas de clock são sempre um pouco mais baixas para os modelos RTX profissionais, e é por isso que o desempenho também fica atrás do RTX 4090 Mobile. No entanto, como no caso da RTX 4090, isso depende do TDP fornecido pelo notebook. De acordo com a Nvidia, o RTX 5000 pode ser configurado de 80 a 175 watts com diferenças de desempenho correspondentemente grandes.
Apesar do nome semelhante, a GPU não é comparável à antiga NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 (Turing).
O chip AD103 usado é fabricado pela TSMC no processo 4N (5nm).
