Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645
A Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 (GT3e) é uma placa gráfica de processador que foi vista pela primeira vez no Apple MacBook Pro 13 (Entry, 2019) em meados de 2019. É semelhante à Iris Plus Graphics 655 nas CPUs de 28 watts.
A chamada versão GT3e da GPU Coffee-Lake ainda tem 48 Unidades de Execução (EUs), que podem alcançar até 1150 MHz dependendo do modelo. Além do cache eDRAM, a Iris 645 também pode acessar a memória do sistema (2x 64 bits DDR3L-2133/DDR4-2400) via interface do processador.
O desempenho exato da Iris Plus Graphics 645 depende do modelo da CPU, porque a velocidade máxima e o tamanho do cache L3 podem diferir um pouco. A memória do sistema (DDR3 / DDR4) também influenciará o desempenho.
Os chips mais rápidos são os modelos Core i7 de alta velocidade, como o Core i7-8557U. Dependendo do jogo, a Iris Plus 655 provavelmente estará a par com uma GeForce 930M ou GeForce 940MX dedicada e pode lidar com jogabilidade fluente em títulos modernos com configurações baixas a médias.
O motor de vídeo retrabalhado agora suporta totalmente a decodificação de hardware de vídeos H.265/HEVC. No entanto, contrário à Skylake, a Kaby Lake agora também decodifica por hardware para H.265/HEVC Main 10 com uma profundidade de cores de 10-bits, bem como o codec VP9 da Google. A saída de vídeo é possível via DP 1.2/eDP 1.3 (até 3840 x 2160 @60 Hz), enquanto o HDMI também é suportado no padrão 1.4a mais antigo. Uma saída HDMI 2.0 pode ser adicionada via conversor do DisplayPort. A GPU pode conduzir até três monitores simultaneamente.
A Iris Plus Graphics 645 é usada para processadores de 15 watts e, portanto, para portáteis pequenos.
