Imagination PowerVR G6200

O PowerVR G6200 da Imagination Technologies é uma solução móvel gráfica que é usada em SoCs ARM como o MediaTek MT8135. O chip está disponível desde 2014 e está projetado para aparelhos de gama média.

Arquitetura e Desempenho

A GPU se baseia na série 6 (Rogue) e integra dois clusters com dois TMUs cada, e uma arquitetura de Shader Unificado escalar. Dependendo da largura de banda disponível e velocidade, o desempenho é similar ao da Qualcomm Adreno 320 e ARM Mali-T624 MP4. Tela de alta resolução (até 2560 x 1600 pixels) e jogos móveis exigentes de 2014 não terão problemas. Entre outros, a GPU suporta OpenGL 3.x/4.x, OpenGL ES 3.0bem como DirectX 10.

As velocidades e o desempenho da G6200 pode variar entre SoCs diferentes. Por exemplo, a Mediatek MT6795 tem uma velocidade de GPU um pouco mais alta que a MT8135 (700 vs. 600 MHz).

Consumo de Energia

Especialmente as versões de menor velocidade da G6200 são muito energeticamente eficientes, portanto, adequadas para smartphones e tablets de tamanho médio. Normalmente, a GPU pode ser encontrada em SoCs produzidos em 28nm.
